United Way Donations
A charity may receive a donation from a donor through a United Way. There are several ways to record this donation and it may be part of an existing campaign, viewed as an unsolicited gift or entered through a United Way campaign as shown in the video. Regardless of the campaign, where a donor is identified, it is preferable to enter the donation as a gift from the donor but facilitated by the United Way.
In some cases, a payment method of United Way is used.
