Q-Xpress Select

We have modified how we select records through Q-Xpress.

The new method accesses all records in the selection first. This screen below will be one you need to understand as it is working while you wait.

The timeline in this selection from start to finish where we could view the records in Q-Xpress view took just over 2 minutes.

In Step 1 of the selection weaccess all records as per the selection requested.

In Step 2 the other data fields are populated.

In the method current method, we are replacing each selected record with populated with data fields one at a time.

The new method should increase the speed from 10 to 25 times depending on if you are using the MDB or SQL format.
