Renewing Your Sponsorship

New: Renewing Nonprofit Eligibility and Sponsorship Eligibility

Renewing your sponsorship is significantly easier now.  We very recently updated the renewal process to make it far simpler.

Two anniversaries are important to your customer—the nonprofit eligibility, and the sponsorship eligibility.  They run on separate cycles. Once every two years, you’ll need to re-verify that they’re still a valid nonprofit. Once every year, you must renew the Azure sponsorship.


Microsoft will send an initial email one month before the expiry date followed by once a week until the date has arrived. Ignoring the renewal will result in charges. All clients on Azure have a document that identifies when the grant was given and the first renewal date.


All steps should be in the renewal email. In case they cannot find the email

Login with the site administrator at https://nonprofit.microsoft.com/en-us/offers/azure.

You will see the Activate button if the sponsorship has not been activated.
