Recognition Using Participation

The Participant column found in a donor's Donor Summary is updated when the Acquired By field is populated on a receipt transaction record.

This might be due to:

1. a Third Party event when the Acquired By identifies the host organization or individual,
2. an event participant who gathers donations as part of the event for the charity
3. a matching gift where the company gives and the employee is identified as the Acquired by
4. a gift through a community foundation where they facilitated the gift from a DAF or donor-advised fund
5. capital campaign individuals or teams who acquired a gift
6. fund development officer who wants credit for acquiring donations

@EASE has added the capability to assign a Quality to the Acquisition number to make reporting and accumulating donations easier than ever.
